Techwave Pty Ltd is registered as a Responsible Supplier on the EESS Database — covering both ACMA labelling notice products (telecoms, radio, EMC) and EESS in-scope electrical equipment. The Australian legal entity foreign manufacturers need to put product on the market here.
Australian regulators need a registered local Responsible Supplier — with an ABN, an Authorised Officer, and a real Australian address. Foreign entities can't register as Responsible Suppliers, and the EESS doesn't allow agents. Techwave Pty Ltd registers in our own name as the Responsible Supplier, taking on the legal obligations directly.

Most products move from initial assessment to compliant ship-ready in 2-4 weeks, depending on testing-gap severity. Complex products may take longer; we tell you up front.
Yes — provided you have an Australian Responsible Supplier registered under the EESS, and where applicable, an ACMA-recognised compliance route. Techwave provides both. The product ships in your name; we sit on the regulatory side.
Often partially — many international test reports map to AS/NZS standards, but the mapping is product-specific. We assess your existing documentation against Australian requirements and identify any gaps.
Yes. The Responsible Supplier service is independent of the Store. Many of our compliance customers source product through their own channels and engage us purely for the regulatory role.
As Responsible Supplier, Techwave is the regulator’s point of contact. We coordinate response, notification and remediation with the manufacturer. We’ve never had an incident escalate — but we’re set up for it.
Freight-forwarders move boxes across the border. They’re not a legal Responsible Supplier under the EESS. We are. The two roles are different and Australian regulators distinguish between them clearly.
An initial assessment fee covers product evaluation and standards mapping. Ongoing Responsible Supplier representation runs on an annual basis tied to the EESS registration cycle. Pricing depends on product range and complexity — talk to us.
